When it feels like you’ve lost touch with yourself
Maybe you’re holding it all together, but it’s heavy.
You’ve tried to make things work — to feel better, to show up, to connect — yet something inside still feels out of sync.
It’s hard to keep going when so much of your energy goes into managing, coping, or keeping things under control. On the outside, it might look like you’re doing fine — but inside, you may feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected. Sometimes it feels like you’re doing everything you can to move forward, yet something inside keeps pulling you back.
Old patterns return. You feel too much, or not enough. You want closeness, but end up feeling distant, unseen, or misunderstood — in your relationship or even within yourself.
Maybe a part of you longs for connection — with yourself, with others, with life — but you don’t know how to get there. Or maybe you’ve been through something difficult, even a crisis, and you’re trying to find your way back to yourself.
Maybe you and your partner keep getting stuck in the same loops, even though you care deeply about each other. Or maybe you’re navigating things alone, wondering why it’s so hard to feel calm, open, or connected.
You’re not alone in feeling this way.
Many of the people and couples I work with have already tried talk therapy, mindfulness, or self-help tools that offered moments of relief — but didn’t quite reach the deeper layers where real change happens.
My approach weaves together Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) — gentle, integrative ways of helping you understand and heal the parts of yourself that carry pain, protect you, or make it hard to connect. Within this work, we focus on getting to know and integrating the different parts of you — in a safe and supportive way. As these parts begin to feel understood rather than managed, you can experience more calm inside, more clarity in your choices, and more authenticity in your relationships.
Whether you come alone or with your partner, this work helps you meet what’s inside with compassion — so you can move toward more balance within yourself and more authenticity in your relationships.
Healing doesn’t happen by pushing harder — it begins when you turn toward yourself with curiosity and compassion.
Your imperfections don’t block your essence — they lead you back to it.
Embrace every part of you — your wholeness was never lost.
Every part of you belongs — even the ones you think shouldn’t.
Healing begins when you realize nothing in you needs to be perfect to be loved.
Therapy that helps you reconnect — with yourself and with others
In my work, I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) to support individuals and couples who want to understand themselves — and each other — on a deeper level.
Rather than trying to change or silence parts of you, we create space to listen to them. Each emotion, reaction, or pattern has a story and a purpose. Together, we approach these inner experiences with curiosity and compassion, so they no longer have to fight for your attention through stress, anxiety, or disconnection.
Sessions unfold at a pace that feels safe for your system. Nothing is pushed or forced — healing happens through understanding, not effort.
As you begin to relate differently to yourself, you’ll also notice shifts in how you show up in relationships. With time, you may find it easier to:
Feel more grounded and at ease in your own mind and body.
Recognize and soothe the parts of you that feel anxious, reactive, or overwhelmed.
Express your needs with more clarity and less fear of conflict.
Create space for genuine connection and empathy with your partner or loved ones.
Trust yourself — and your emotions — as reliable guides.
This work is about integration: helping all the parts of you, and all the parts of your relationship, move toward greater balance, openness, and authenticity.
Why This Approach Helps
IFS, IFIO, and integrative psychology offer a gentle and effective way to understand why you feel, react, and relate the way you do. Instead of fighting parts of yourself, this approach gives you a clear way to understand why you feel the way you feel — and helps you work with every part of yourself, not against it. This allows real change to happen from the inside out where you can feel more grounded, relate more openly and trust your inner voice.
Integrative personality approach in therapy is powerful because it works at the source of emotional and relational patterns, not just the symptoms.
By meeting your inner parts with clarity and safety, change becomes natural — leading to more balance within yourself and more authentic connection with the people you love.
Hi, I’m Andrea.
IFS & IFIO Therapist based in Stockholm — offering online therapy for individuals and couples across Sweden and internationally.
I work with people who want to understand themselves more deeply and feel more connected in their relationships. Many of my clients are thoughtful, empathic, or sensitive individuals who may appear to have it all together on the outside, but inside often feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected.
My approach combines Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) — gentle, evidence-based models that help you understand and integrate the different parts of yourself, so that you can find more calm, clarity, and authentic connection with others.
Before training in IFS, I spent over 6 years working with Silva Method Life System and Theta Healing, supporting people in building awareness, confidence, and emotional freedom.
I hold a degree in psychology from Stockholm University, where my thesis — “Facilitating Post-Conflict Reconciliation through Moral Elevation” — was published in the Journal of Psychology.
My work is grounded in compassion and curiosity. Whether you come alone or with your partner, we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you — creating space for every part of you to be seen, understood, and welcomed.
“I’m really thankful for Andrea. She listens in a way that makes you feel seen, and our work together has made a big difference in my life”.

What others are saying
Working Together
I work with individuals and couples who want to live with more clarity, emotional balance, and connection — both within themselves and in their relationships.
You might find yourself holding a lot inside, feeling stuck in patterns you can’t quite shift, or sensing that something deeper needs attention.
You may long for more closeness, but find it hard to stay open without losing yourself — or you may simply want to feel more at peace in your own skin.
My approach is especially supportive for people who are:
Empathic, sensitive, or reflective and tend to carry the emotions of others.
Navigating relationship challenges — cycles of conflict, disconnection, or fear of intimacy.
Recovering from burnout or emotional exhaustion and longing to feel grounded again.
Reconnecting after crisis or change, finding meaning and stability within uncertainty.
Interested in deep personal work, exploring how inner parts shape your outer life.
In our sessions, we’ll work with the models of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) — approaches that help you build understanding and compassion for every part of yourself, while creating healthier patterns of connection with others.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start.
We’ll take the time to understand what’s happening inside and around you — at a pace that feels safe, kind, and real..
